Mia loves creating female-driven, playful and almost always surreal stories for tv and film. In 2021, her original comedy pilot was a semifinalist for the Sundance Episodic Lab and also advanced in the Austin Film Festival.

Drawing from her sketch comedy background, Mia writes dark comedies about niche subcultures. She’s a big fan of physical humor and characters who learn to love themselves despite (and because of) their flaws.
